American Children's Author Steve William Laible was born in Ashland, Oregon. Raised in Pismo Beach, California & Coos Bay, Oregon, he is a retired Air Force Officer (Captain) with a 22-year distinguished career serving his country.

Creator of the former Stevie Tenderheart comic strip published for 5 years; author of the Stevie Tenderheart bedtime book series of Children's books available in print, eBooks, and Audio Books (Amazon, iTunes, etc.)

Laible is the founder of the "Young Hearts Book Pledge," where we, with your help, donate children's books to Foster Kids, CASA, children's hospitals, etc.
